The SLED2900 offers generous connectivity options so you can hook up both legacy, new and future equipment during the setup process. The unit receives over-the-air DTV and unencrypted digital or analog channels on cable. It also does double duty as a computer monitor. Alternatively, you can use an optional VESA mount to turn the SLED2900 into a hang-on-the-wall TV.

Notably, it features a significantly lower use of electrical energy, which means you’ll save money on that costly electric bill. This is a sought after feature that consumers have come to expect. Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse T6DW Series. This series is considered a great value and offers many features for the price. Set-up is easy, with its simple menu. Mounting on the wall is trouble-free due to the TV’s light weight.

The 3 HDMI ports let you watch movies, play games and connect your computer for high resolution images and easy viewing with the large screen. A couple of convenient features are the sleep timer and parental control, which no parent should be without. This series does have a few drawbacks. The HDMI inputs are located in the rear of the TV making it difficult to attach your cables, especially when the TV is mounted to the wall. In order for the digital tuner to function, some codes need to be activated which requires a phone call. For most this is not an issue, but some consumers find this requirement very annoying. However, considering the vibrant colors and crisp, clear picture this series delivers, it is worth it.

The remote control used for this series is the RMT-15. It is very easy to use however it has been noted that the signal is weak, therefore you must be close to the TV and aim properly for the remote to connect to the TV.

The biggest drawback of this series and many slim, flat screen TVs is the sound quality. The speakers on this series are located at the rear of the TV and are very weak. The sound quality is very poor. However, to compensate for the speakers and achieve great sound quality, any sound system can be attached to the TV. Once you have your desired sound system attached, you can experience all the great features this series has to offer.

Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse LD-5580Z 55” 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV. This powerhouse television features an ultra slim design making it easy to mount on the wall and transport from one place to another. Used in conjunction with a blu-ray, the picture quality is exceptional, although the blu-ray is not needed to get crisp, clear images. The picture quality of this model is by far the best feature according to those who have purchased this TV. Unfortunately this model is not equipped for internet connectivity.

This model comes with a fully functional remote, part number RMT-15. Many users have stated that the RMT-15 is very easy to use and navigate through the initial setup and menu options.

If you like to watch TV late at night and not disturb others while doing so, the LD-5580Z has a headphone jack which many other TV models do not offer. There is however only one audio output which will not be enough for everyone but still a great feature. Some consumers have reported that the sound quality is average but works very well in small spaces. Others have stated that the sound quality is perfect. Therefore it all depends on how important top of the line sound quality is to you.
