Welcome to a review of the Onkyo HT-S6500 5.1-Channel Network Home Theater Package. The Onkyo HT-S6500 has many features and is simple to install and operate. With 770 Watts of total power coming through the speakers, you will be delighted with the surround sound and enjoy a theater-like experience in the comfort of your own home. To make it easier for the user, Onkyo supplies you with a calibrated microphone that, following the instructions given in the manual, will help calibrate all the speakers for you so that the sound is optimal and distributed evenly. Equipped with seven HDMI ports, you can connect your blu-ray, cable box, gaming console and any other HDMI compatible devices you need.

The part # of the remote control that comes with this home theater system is RC-840M.

Although this system does not have built-in wifi or bluetooth, by simply purchasing the correct adapter, you can enjoy all that wifi and bluetooth have to offer, primarily streaming of music, videos and enjoying online services like Spotify or Pandora. You can also connect your iPhone or iPod via the USB port located on the front panel and your PC as well.

Some users have commented that, while setting up their system, the cords for the back speakers are too short. And others have commented that the interface could be better. All of that aside however, this home theater system delivers excellent sound quality with deep, rich tones, and solid, stable bass, and for the price, is worth every penny.

PROS:
• Excellent sound quality
• Plenty of connectivity options
• Great price

CONS:

• Needs longer cords for speakers
• Interface could use improvement
