Welcome to the review of Sanyo’s DP-841 series, 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV. The Sanyo DP-841 series is an LCD TV that boasts a 42-inch and 46-inch screen. It also has a video resolution of 1080p in high definition that provides the ultimate home theater experience. This series uses a Digital Clear QAM tuner that is ideal for connecting to an array of digital cable channels. It also has the ability to adapt to the lighting in a given room, making the television very versatile.

This series offers an array of video inputs for connecting a variety of digital media devices, including a DVD player, Blu-ray player, or a gaming system. This Sanyo series uses a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, that is ideal for watching movies and provides a contrast ratio of 4,000:1, providing highly contrasted images to the viewing screen.

There are other features such as parental controls, and closed captioning for the hearing impaired. This TV is ENERGY STAR Qualified and comes with a fully functional remote, part number GXBM, to help navigate through all the features and menu options.

Consumer reviews are mixed on this series, some stating awesome picture quality and some preferring the more current HDTV LED models better. An adequate picture quality and a great price point seem to be the biggest selling points for the DP-821 series.
