Welcome to a review of the Denon DHT-1312XP Home Theater system. Add immersive, 5.1 surround sound to your home theater with the Denon DHT-1312XP Home Theater System. This powerful system pairs an AVR-1312 receiver with five speakers and a subwoofer to create a cinematic and detailed soundstage. The receiver supports high-resolution audio formats–including Dolby True HD and DTS-HD which makes for a dynamic surround-sound listening experience. This model is compatible with HDMI v1.4a and 3D media and the receiver serves as a quality foundation for your complete home theater system.

It has been noted that both the build quality and the aesthetics on this device are a little below average, though it is by no means a poor looking model. For an entry-level product, it is incredibly well built, featuring sturdy bodywork and slick controls on the front panel.

The DHT-1312XP comes with a fully functional remote control, part number RC-1158, which makes navigation that much easier with the touch of a button.

Overall this model is far from spectacular but will certainly get the job done for most consumers. The DHT-1312XP’s greatest plus is its price and value and will give you a complete surround sound system that fits the needs of most people looking for a sound system.

• Solid sound quality
• Great value

• Speaker build quality
• Light on features
• Overly brash at times, lacking Denon’s usual smoothness

Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse EW40T2XW LED HDTV. The EW40T2XW was designed with the consumer in mind. Its ultra slim design and light weight make it very easy for anyone to set up and mount quickly. With 1080p HD resolution and 120 hz refresh rate, you are sure to get a beautiful, clear, crisp picture when viewing your favorite movies, shows or playing games. It offers 3 HDMI inputs for your convenience and wide viewing angles so that everyone in the room can watch easily. On occasion, some have noted dead pixels within the picture screen, which can lessen the viewing experience for TV enthusiasts who want top of the line quality. The TV can always be returned and exchanged for a new one. However, for the price, this large, wide screen TV is hard to beat with its excellent picture quality.

The remote that comes with this TV is standard. The part number is RMT-15.

The sound quality has been an issue with this model and other Westinghouse HDTV models. There is nothing wrong with the sound just that it is of average quality. Many who would like to keep the TV simply attach their sound system and are pleasantly pleased with the results. Overall, this TV gives you a lot of bang for your buck.

Welcome to a review of Emerson’s EM1 Series, 19” Class size, 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV. Improve your viewing experience with the EM1 19-inch LCD HDTV from Emerson. This television is Energy Star 4.0 compliant and offers a superior HD experience with HDMI one cable experience.

The EM1 HDTV is a plain and simple television. There are no outstanding features, no bells and whistles but consumers are saying it gets the job done. The display quality has been described as fine, but once again – this is just a basic monitor. The 19” class size offering actually makes this perfect for a low cost monitor for their PC.

One feature that has been mentioned and enjoyed is the built-in digital tuner. It has been mentioned that the picture quality is not too bad when the cable goes out. The easy to use, fully functional remote control that goes with the EM1 is part number NH001UD. It is as basic as the TV but will get the job done.

If you are looking for a TV/Monitor in a convenient size, that is basically a plain television and that is budget friendly yet reliable, then the EM1 might be worth checking out.
