Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse T6DW Series. This series is considered a great value and offers many features for the price. Set-up is easy, with its simple menu. Mounting on the wall is trouble-free due to the TV’s light weight.

The 3 HDMI ports let you watch movies, play games and connect your computer for high resolution images and easy viewing with the large screen. A couple of convenient features are the sleep timer and parental control, which no parent should be without. This series does have a few drawbacks. The HDMI inputs are located in the rear of the TV making it difficult to attach your cables, especially when the TV is mounted to the wall. In order for the digital tuner to function, some codes need to be activated which requires a phone call. For most this is not an issue, but some consumers find this requirement very annoying. However, considering the vibrant colors and crisp, clear picture this series delivers, it is worth it.

The remote control used for this series is the RMT-15. It is very easy to use however it has been noted that the signal is weak, therefore you must be close to the TV and aim properly for the remote to connect to the TV.

The biggest drawback of this series and many slim, flat screen TVs is the sound quality. The speakers on this series are located at the rear of the TV and are very weak. The sound quality is very poor. However, to compensate for the speakers and achieve great sound quality, any sound system can be attached to the TV. Once you have your desired sound system attached, you can experience all the great features this series has to offer.

Welcome to a review of the Onkyo TX-NR525 5.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. The TX-NR525 is low end in price for Onkyo but you wouldn’t know it by all that it has to offer. Onkyo makes connecting your home theater system easy by providing color coded labels for the speaker wires and pre-labeled HDMI inputs like cable/satellite, game, DVD, and computer. It comes with automatic calibration of your speakers using a microphone provided. The six HDMI inputs take surround sound formats from Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and also support 3D video, giving you the finest in sound and picture quality. Although Wifi and Bluetooth are not built-in, with the proper LAN adapter, you will have wireless access to stream your music, and videos effortlessly and have access to the most popular streaming and radio services on the internet. The TX-NR525 also has the capacity to extend the sound and picture to another room, called the second zone.

The part number for the remote control is RC-865M. The remote is programmable and has the ability to control your TV, Blu-ray, DVD and Cable/Satellite. Some users have noted that at times the remote needs to be aimed right at the receiver in order for it to work. The Onkyo remote app for iPod touch, iPhone and Android devices is another convenient way to control your home theater system within wireless range.

A very noteworthy feature is the 4K pass through. With Onkyo thinking ahead to the future of technology, they have equipped this receiver with 4K pass through resolution from source devices, like a blu-ray, to a 4K ready HDTV. Onkyo uses Audyssey Technology adjustments to optimize the sound. Audyssey Dynamic EQ maintains reliable bass and surround sound effects at different volume levels. The Audyssey technology also automatically compensates for changes in volume levels. The sound quality this receiver delivers is exceptional with clarity, and bass that is not overpowering. With all these features, and a price that is very reasonable, you will be very happy to make this part of your home theater system.

Consumers are sharing that this model has a solid sound, easy to use interface, and has the power to give crystal clear highs and pounding bass. Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse LD-5580Z 55” 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV. This powerhouse television features an ultra slim design making it easy to mount on the wall and transport from one place to another. Used in conjunction with a blu-ray, the picture quality is exceptional, although the blu-ray is not needed to get crisp, clear images. The picture quality of this model is by far the best feature according to those who have purchased this TV. Unfortunately this model is not equipped for internet connectivity.

This model comes with a fully functional remote, part number RMT-15. Many users have stated that the RMT-15 is very easy to use and navigate through the initial setup and menu options.

If you like to watch TV late at night and not disturb others while doing so, the LD-5580Z has a headphone jack which many other TV models do not offer. There is however only one audio output which will not be enough for everyone but still a great feature. Some consumers have reported that the sound quality is average but works very well in small spaces. Others have stated that the sound quality is perfect. Therefore it all depends on how important top of the line sound quality is to you. Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse VR-3730 37” 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV. For the price, the Westinghouse model VR-3730 delivers a great TV for those who are looking for simplicity. Its ultra-slim design and light weight make it very easy to install whether it be on the wall or on a stand. The simple menu also makes it easy to install.

Although the refresh rate is only 60Hz, the picture is amazingly clear with vivid colors and image detail. When watching sports or action movies, some have reported the picture to become a bit blurred at times, but overall a decent viewing experience.

The aspect ratio appears to be a standard complaint with this model. When you set it to your liking, it does not save your setting and resets to the default of standard once the TV is turned off therefore you must set it up each and every time you turn the TV on. However, because of the great picture quality and low price, many are willing to put up with this minor glitch.

The remote used for this model is standard. The part number is RMT-15. Many consumers have said it is very easy to use due to its simplistic design. This model does not have internet connection but does allow you to connect your PC.
