This model boasts a 100,000:1 contrast ratio to ensure that movies and games look their very best. Some users have reported problems with saving the aspect ratio whereby it returns to standard mode once the TV is turned off. This can be fixed by changing it back to your preferred setting when the TV is turned on again.

The fully functional remote control for this model is part number, RMT-15. This remote will get you through the setup and menu options and all features with ease.

The sound quality of this model and other ultra slim models appears to be a problem. Comments range from terrible to pretty good. Being that the TV is so slim, it does not allow for much in the way of audio, therefore the sound quality is not the best. This is a review of the Sharp LE442 Series LED TV. The LE442 series is slim, light, and easy to set up. Simply plug it in and begin enjoying your television watching experience. A lot of reviewers like to use this TV as a monitor for their PC or laptop because it has the connectivity to do so, but in no way has Sharp left the casual viewers out of the mix. The outstanding picture quality originates from the 1080p LED display and optical picture control.

The remote control part number that comes with this television series is 9JY64014704000. This remote control is easy to use and serves as a standard remote control that will handle all basic functions you might need.

Downsides to this TV include sound quality and only a 60 Hz refresh rate. These are not problems that everyone will complain about, only the skeptic critics will ever find these issues a problem with this series. Sound quality can be easily improved with purchasing an external sound bar to go with the television set. Most refresh rates average 120 Hz on current model TVs, but 60 Hz is not necessarily bad. The refresh rate allows for smoother picture and reduction of the blur effect you’ll see for fast moving objects like a puck in Hockey or bullets firing across the screen. 60 Hz is more than enough to satisfy most viewers. Overall, this TV series remains a great purchase, offering great value for the price.
