For the parents out there wanting to keep control of what their children watch, this is a perfect TV. An apparent glitch with this model is that the TV tuner will not recognize some channels. Customer service should be able to assist with this issue and provide some problem solving solutions. Also, the aspect ratio reverts back to standard once the TV is turned off, meaning you have to reset to fill mode every time you watch TV. While there are 3 HDMI inputs, an adequate amount for most consumers, it has been noted that the ports are located in a tight spot and it is difficult to situate the plugs-ins.

The TV comes equipped with only one button on the front, the on/off switch. For those people who often displace or lose their remote control, this can be an annoyance. Although this model’s resolution is only 720p, unless you get up very close can you tell that it is not 1080p. The 2 HDMI inputs are available for attaching devices that are most important to you. If you are an avid gamer, this TV will render top notch picture quality that will have you playing for hours.

While the picture this TV delivers is of good quality, the sound leaves much to be desired. Comments range from hollow sounding, can hear an echo or a buzz, to it’s great. A couple of convenient features are the sleep timer and parental control, which no parent should be without. This series does have a few drawbacks. The HDMI inputs are located in the rear of the TV making it difficult to attach your cables, especially when the TV is mounted to the wall. In order for the digital tuner to function, some codes need to be activated which requires a phone call. For most this is not an issue, but some consumers find this requirement very annoying. However, considering the vibrant colors and crisp, clear picture this series delivers, it is worth it.

The remote control used for this series is the RMT-15. It is very easy to use however it has been noted that the signal is weak, therefore you must be close to the TV and aim properly for the remote to connect to the TV.
