Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse LD-4055 LED HDTV. For the price, this TV will exceed your expectations. The thin sleek design together with its light weight make the set-up and mounting of the TV effortless. The high resolution and 120Hz refresh rate allow you to enjoy watching your favorite movies and shows with bright, crisp images and a clear picture. Some customers have stated that the TV is not 120Hz but 60Hz. By calling your cable company they can help you change the refresh rate to 120Hz so you can have the full HD viewing experience. The settings on the TV have been noted as being very limited, especially when adjusting the color. A technical glitch with this model appears to be that it does not save the aspect ratio and returns it to standard mode every time you turn off the TV, therefore you have to change it every time you turn the TV on. This is not a problem for everyone except for the technically savvy viewer.

The remote for this model is RMT-15. Some users have reported that in order for the remote to work properly you have to be close to the set and aim in the right direction.

The biggest complaint by consumers about this model is the sound quality. Apparently many flat panel televisions fall short on sound quality. Some find the sound to be horrible but most find it to be average. To offset this deficiency, most consumers attach a sound bar or some type of sound system to enhance the sound which seems to work very well, and together with the excellent picture quality, your viewing experience can now be top-notch.
