Considered low to mid-range in price, the HT-S5500 is a fully packed Home Theater System offering satisfying performance and value. This receiver, equipped with a 7 channel amplifier, at 1030 watts per channel and a powerful 10-inch 120 watt subwoofer, will certainly rock the house. The Audyssey Room Correction that comes with the system will make it very easy for you to calibrate your speakers for optimal performance. The sub woofer can be adjusted to meet your needs. The two-way front and center speakers are fitted with high-quality drivers and tweeters.
4 HDMI inputs and 1 output enable you to connect your devices including a blu-ray player, gaming console and satellite/cable box. The front USB port allows you to connect your iPhone, iPod or flash drive for streaming your music and videos. The FM/AM tuner comes with a 40 preset memory so that you can set all your favorite radio channels for easy access.

Many users have reported multiple issues with the subwoofer. Some have simply received a faulty subwoofer while others were not aware that due to an energy saving feature, once turned off, it may take a few moments to power back on.
