Welcome to a review of the Westinghouse LD-5580Z 55” 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV. This powerhouse television features an ultra slim design making it easy to mount on the wall and transport from one place to another. Used in conjunction with a blu-ray, the picture quality is exceptional, although the blu-ray is not needed to get crisp, clear images. The picture quality of this model is by far the best feature according to those who have purchased this TV. Unfortunately this model is not equipped for internet connectivity.

This model comes with a fully functional remote, part number RMT-15. Many users have stated that the RMT-15 is very easy to use and navigate through the initial setup and menu options.

If you like to watch TV late at night and not disturb others while doing so, the LD-5580Z has a headphone jack which many other TV models do not offer. There is however only one audio output which will not be enough for everyone but still a great feature. Some consumers have reported that the sound quality is average but works very well in small spaces. Others have stated that the sound quality is perfect. Therefore it all depends on how important top of the line sound quality is to you. If excellence in sound quality is important to you, by connecting a soundbar, speakers or home entertainment system, you can sit back and enjoy the show.
